Interesting if modest collection of local bric-a-brac

Closed for the winter months, opening sometime in May. A collection of old original buildings that have been moved to site creating a tiny village. Friday evenings during summer months, between 4 - 8 pm, you can enjoy a local farmer's market with food trucks, live music, blacksmith demonstration & you can tour the village building's at the same time. Advise you come early, parking lot fills up quickly - parking can be a issue.

This museum is on public land, so no need to pay no matter what they tell you.

RE-writing history as they see fit. Business as usual.

I just found out the board FIRED both the staff. The ED had been with the museum for almost 5 years. They did so in a very secretive manner and without the approval of the whole board and the membership. This is disgusting and against the museums values as stated on the website. 2 of the board are bullies and one of them called the director a b!tch and he didn't even deny it.

Go! Do a scavenger hunt with the kids, take a class on gardening, come for the Friday night market - tour the museum for free on Friday nights during market. Wonderful history here - working blacksmith shop and wonderful artifacts. So worth your time to wander.
